OUCO has successfully tested and dispatched two highly customized offshore knuckle telescopic boom cranes for a leading German manufacturer of amphibious engineering equipment. Currently en route to Nigeria, the machinery will be mounted on specialized tracked pontoon platforms for coastal dredging and subsea cable laying. This collaboration highlights OUCO’s capability to deliver tailor-made, high-reliability marine machinery for complex water conservancy and offshore projects worldwide.

   

Amphibious Engineering & Marine-Grade Durability

Built to strict offshore standards, each crane delivers a 19.22-tonne lifting capacity at a 7.97-meter radius and a 14.17-meter maximum reach. Uniquely designed for amphibious deployment, the cranes draw hydraulic power directly from a heavy excavator on the pontoon, enabling high-precision lifting without an independent power source. To withstand West Africa's extreme tropical climate and salt spray, the equipment is fortified with high-grade stainless steel hydraulics, a robust 250-micron CX multi-layer marine paint system, and premium Scanreco wireless controllers for exceptional real-time responsiveness.

   

   

Rigorous Testing & On-Site Commissioning

To guarantee zero-downtime deployment, the cranes underwent strict dual-phase verification. After exceeding all specifications during comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at OUCO, a dedicated field engineer was dispatched to supervise the on-site installation at the pontoon manufacturer’s facility. Once mounted, our engineering team conducted full-system commissioning and load testing, ensuring perfect synergy between the pontoon's mobility and the crane's lifting capabilities before officially entering service.
